Who am I
Ha, Who am I, What a great question? Seems like I’m always searching for that answer……. Well, as if you are not already impressed, hang on to your hat, here is my “Professional Bio”.
I am an 12 year fitness industry veteran. During this time I have served as a leader, educator, manager, and Personal Trainer at various health clubs in Chicago and Florida. My experience in health club management transcends all departments including fitness, sales, and operations.
I was a faculty member of Club Industry, a national trade organization, where I presented seminars for other fitness professionals and managers at national conferences. My presentation skills have also been utilized in my role as an educator for Fitness Formula, a top Chicago Health Club Chain. I was also on the board for the Fitness Department at Robert Morris College in Chicago.
As a fitness professional I have surpassed the norms in education. Most recently acquiring certification through Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) as a MAT Specialist. MAT is a biomechanically based system for identifying and correcting muscular imbalances in the body. I also currently studies through Resistance Training Specialist (RTS) the most advanced scientifically based fitness training certification currently available in the fitness industry.
As a Personal Trainer, I have helped clients reach their fitness goals ranging from the competitive athlete to first-time exerciser. I have personal experience as a fitness competitor, gymnast and triathlete. My sessions are educational, fun, results driven, and safe.
As a Natural Fitness Competitor, I hope to to inspire others to commit to being their best and truly achieving their fitness goals. I currently hold the 2009 NANBF Great Norther Figure Champion and the 2008 ABA Natural North America Figure Champion Title. I will be competing for my pro-card in the fall.
